Malaria antibodies
The next post is now Simon. :] It normally wouldn't be, except that I''m bored in g25 waiting for cell.
Hmmm, not much to say... nothing interesting happening in my life (which is a good thing)! Ooh, I gave blood a few weeks ago and they sent me back a letter a couple of days ago. Apparantly I have malaria antibodies in my blood (how exciting!), which they said can be accounted for in three ways:
(1) I previously had malaria
(2) I have malaria right now
(3) The test is wrong
Haha.
On another note, the photo in the library of Dorcas and Sharon has mysteriously disappeared! Not sure where its gone, perhaps they have a secret admirer who fell in love with the photo so they broke into Riverton Library after hours and stole the photo! Ahaha, I need some stimulation. :[
Added Hanh's blog to my list! Yay, it looks like I have lots of friends. Well, not really.
This quote is like the motto of my life! I think its such a great quote...

Hey Alison! Thank you for posting!!! It's so good to hear from you again. Do you wait in G25 for cell every Wed? Is this your final semester at UWA? Are you still doing a prac with autistic kids?
It's interesting that the letter said you had malaria antibodies. So what does that mean? Can you still donate blood or have they banned you forever?
I actually donated plasma in April and they sent me a letter saying that my blood had more than usual white blood cells. So they say that I was probably ill when I donated the plasma and want me to come in to do another test. Anyway they also banned me from donating for 6 months because my veins aren't coping well. That is because I have been donating plasma every 2 weeks and my veins just can't take it anymore. So they told me to take a break for 6 months to give my veins time to recover from the stress resulting from needles poking through.
Blessings,
Simon Ow
Hahahha you're funny!
what happened to the "tastes like feet" quote?
oh wait, that was after cell...
meh, i identify with that dylan thomas quote too :(
Amy: ahaha, you're weirder than me sometimes. :] Nothing happening here, boring as usual!
Simon: Ouch, sounds painful. Don't think I could do that every 2 weeks. Every 3 months is good enough for me. And yes, final sem -- not sure what I'm going to do.. And I am still working with children with autism.
Hanh: Ahaha, 'it tastes like feet'. :] :] Hilarious stuff.
oh cool you guys are in the same cell?
ouch - i hope your veins are getting stronger Simon, sounds like pain.
Alison, I know you took my pic and stare at it every night. man, now i gotta hunt sharon down to take another pic. haha.

i still feel insulted with the "It tastes like feet" comment. tsk tsk tsk... the weird stuff you guys can come up with never fails to amaze me.
hehe, we know you love us hooi :P
My brother made a cake that tasted like a boot once. Apparently.
He used salt instead of sugar.
Fond memories.
Hmm, thought I should post another comment to round it up to 10.
Dorcas: Simon's in Canberra, so its kinda hard to be in the same cell... although he does email us about weird things, like the census form.
Added your blog Weiyi!
We all love you Hooi. The sticky date pudding rocked. No feet taste what-so-ever. :]
Hope you guys completed your Census form online! From: Simon Ow
