Logie Awards

Did anyone catch the Logie Awards last night? It wasn't bad, but the best part was when Neighbours won the Hall of Fame/Lifetime Achievement Award (not sure which). Neighbours now holds the record for the longest running soap opera in the world. And it has such a good track record of producing big stars, such as Russell Crowe, Kylie Minogue, Delta Goodrem, Natalie Imbruglia, Guy Pearce... the list goes on.

Anyway, the best part of the Logies is when the cast accepted the award and Harold (played by Ian Smith) did his rap. Hilarious stuff. Ian Smith is such an underrated actor.

The random quote of the day is also from the Logies, it's Chaser peoples' motto (they make shows on the ABC, such as The Chaser decides, and CNNN).

Random Quote of the Day: "Striving for mediocrity in a world of excellence."

Chaser News Network is sooooo good!

And Neighbours is like a 'positive curse'. Anyone who gets into neighbours has a good chance of hitting it big later. LOL

Look at moi, look at moi! hahaaa

Glad to see you are watching many Aussie shows while you're over here Jeff.

And Amy, Aussie stuff is way cool. I've been watching Neighbours for like 7-8 years...

I don't really watch all the Aussie soaps, I figured I can't possibly catch up with 8 years of plot development hahaaa. But I like exotic stuff like Media Watch, and aussie ads.

Right now, I'm waiting for the parliamentary proceedings to restart on the ABC. Eyecandy: shadow health minister Julia Gillard hahaaa
