About nothing

Wah, only one comment? I'm so sad... Thanks for the comment Simon, that strategy sounds weird though. My case manager told me to use a flat, low voice by talking from my stomach. Long story. Well, not really, but I can't be bothered explaining.

It's almost December! Christmas is coming... One of my friends has already finished her Christmas shoppping. I'm so jealous. I'll be battling the crowds the week before Christmas! Or maybe I just won't give out presents this year. :]

Holidays have been going on for about 1 and 1/2 weeks, but this is my first day where I have nothing planned. I'm so surprised! I thought I'd be doing nothing for almost everyday of the holidays.. well we'll see! Haha, that sentence looks funny. Well and we'll... sometimes I crack myself up... Argh, I'm going crazy!

So now we've established that this post is about nothing, I hope you all enjoy your holidays and Christmas as well. God bless!

Firmer voice

Wow, I actually have been busy these last couple of weeks. Who would've thunk it?

Yes, it's supposed to be spelt that way.

Had a super session with one autistic kid on Thursday, but a terrible one today with another autisitic kid. Today the kid's mother kindly suggested that I firm up my voice because it's too nice. :]

Any tips to how I can do that? It's not really yelling, it's more of having a harder voice so the kid will be scared of me. Well, I'll be seeing my case manager on Monday, so I'll ask her. Whaha..

On another note, I tried racing Shan squared at swimming. Who do you think would win? Shan squared, who teaches and competes in swimming competitions, or me, who hasn't swam (swum? bad English, man!) seriously in many years?

Why, me of course. ;P

Just kidding.

Children's church party tomorrow. From 10am to 5pm. Over 150 kids. How am I going to survive? Start training my firmer voice now!

Summer is coming!

Happy 21st birthday Simon! Sorry, I don't actually know the date, but I know it's around now. Have a good one! :]

Everyone finished exams? Woohoo!!

Summer is coming. Along with that comes all the summer shows which weren't good enough for earlier in the year. Next week it's the season finale for most of the programs on TV now. What'll I do with my time? :P

Here's to 3 months of sitting around! Cheers!

Solitary holiday

Crap crap crap crap. I published it and somehow deleted all my witty remarks. Now I have to start all over.

But hey, at least I have time, because guess who's on holiday now?!! Woohoo!!

Things to do on my 3 month holiday in Perth:
- Do a Paint By Numbers
- Do a 1500+ piece puzzle
- Finish a cross-stitch that I started a few years ago
- Read the entire "The Chronicles of Narnia" book
- Watch lots and lots of DVDs

Yes, I do realise that all my things to do are solitary (and indoor) activities, but hey - it's my holiday and I can do whatever I like.

If any of you are still in Perth, we can do something though. I actually want to be able to say that I stepped out of the house once this summer.

God bless for the rest of you guys still on exams, although I don't know what you're doing reading my blog then. Go study you lazy person!

The quote was sent to me by email, it's from my Dad. Very nice!

Hope you guys are doing okay on your thesis (what's the plural for thesis?) Jess and Chrissy! See you soon!
